This camera has a High resolution IR Tube with 5-50mm vari-focal lens. This camera is a medium size unit and has a much higher visual impact when installed.

In this image the camera is sighted fairly close to the target area and the LED intensity is as much as you would want at this distance.

It is important not to use too much IR light as this can cause the camera to burn/white out. In this instance it works very well as the IR has something to reflect off. This image uses the camera with the lens set at approx. 10mm.

It is important to note that no other light/illumination is used in these areas, other than the Infra-Red light from them camera, and these areas are in total darkness at night. Infra-Red light is invisible to the human eye.
